Store between 2-8°C. Do not freeze.
- Fowls intended for human consumption must not be slaughtered within 42 days after vaccination.
- Only healthy fowls should be vaccinated.
- Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
- Destroy any unused vaccine by, for example, burning, and dispose of all vaccine containers after vaccination.
- Do not store partially used containers for future use and use the entire contents within 24 hours after opening.
- Avoid intravenous injection.
- Accidental self-injection may lead to a severe local allergic reaction. Consult a physician and inform him/her that the vaccine contains a mineral oil.
- Although this vaccine has been extensively tested under a wide variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, contact the registration.
- Do not mix this vaccine with any other vaccines.
- Use according to the number of doses as indicated.
- The vaccine should be administered in accordance with standard aseptic conditions for vaccination.
- It is good vaccination practice when handling the vaccine to avoid contact with the eyes, hands and clothing.
USE ONLY AS DIRECTED.
Allow the vaccine to gradually reach room temperature (20 - 25 °C) before use. Shake the vial well before and at regular intervals during use. Once open the bottle must be used within 24 hours.
Note: Fowls must have been previously vaccinated with a live attenuated vaccine against Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis according to normal vaccination schedules.
First vaccination: 7 - 8 week old pullets
Inject 0,5 ml subcutaneously (under the skin) at the back of the neck.Booster vaccination: 16 - 17 weeks
To boost protection against the three diseases for the entire laying period, re-vaccination with inactivated vaccine is needed before the fowls go into lay. Inject 0,5 ml subcutaneously (under the skin) into the back of the neck.(per dose prior to inactivation)
Inactivated Newcastle disease virus: 50 PD₅₀
Inactivated infectious bronchitis virus: 107.5 EID₅₀
Inactivated Haemophilus paragallinarum (serotype A,C): 3 x 10⁹ CFU
